2004:
February 26, 2004
Things have been moving along into the New Year. We have inducted one new Slayer, K@talyst. JuNN has once again attended LANLegends in RI/MA. The next LAN Event will be May 22nd, 2004. Get some time off work and join in on the Rune massacre, we ‘maxed’ at 23 players last time in a ferocious blood-fest. With minor changes we can hopefully up the max player size to 30+! It was a great trip for those who went and we look forward to going again! JuNN has taken a small presence in Call of Duty and with the upcoming Dead Man's Hand I'm sure we will be there too.

2003:
December 23, 2003
A lot has happened since the last update of Ravings so here is a rundown. Albas and Lich have left JuNN and joined RoV. Cenix (ThaiMaiSheu) and Archaic did well in their tryouts and have become official Slayers. Attila takes the clan to war, JuNN has competed in seven clan wars since our last update. Most recently an outstanding victory against the Zaphirs and a fun war with HHFO. Lastly, MeanBone, the leader of the JuNN Horde makes a return to the servers!

October 25th:
Terminus
formerly of <LT>, has left The Horde because of a bad attitude towards Community and Horde members. The Horde goes to War! In the past month JüNN has had seven major clan battles. In a fun HeadBall war with KoD and *RL* the Horde won out with a 160 to 100 score, great showings by Attila, Dragonbreath, Jono and Loomis! We would also like to Congratulate REY with an outstanding victory in a clan war with Kiss, Jono and Albas. Great showings by both teams, REY better watch out, JüNN is looking for another Battle!
-Zero

August 17th:
MeanBone
returns to raise hell in the servers with his clan! Attila makes a return to JüNN just in time. JüNN takes a trip to Indy. to compete in the Rune Tournaments at GenCon. The outcome is nothing short of obliteration for those who were unfortunate enough to sign-up to face MeanBone, Snake and Attila. Albas takes the lead at the World OGL with an undefeated score of 11 and 0. Many other JüNNs spotted on the servers including the legendary Requiem. The community is thriving with the return of some other names such as Cujo<LT>.
-Hrothgar

June 5th:
Everyone welcome new members Plato and Albas. Both Plato and Albas made a great showing at their tryouts. Platos use of the broadsword was of great use to him and he completed his tryout in four maps. Albas coming in second on DM-Alfiem with over a 400 ping during the match has shown his determination to become a member of JüNN. Lots of new servers coming and going as well. Post Mortem has gotten their hands on a really nice server with a great amount of upload bandwidth. Omegus is still carrying its punch and has been offering some great matches with a lot of the gamers out there. Attila has abandoned JüNN for reasons of his own. :)
-Hrothgar

March 9th:
With the recent release of Battlefield 1942, ZombieLord has created a sub-clan of JüNN called Ground =0= Gamers. There new site was released today as well check it out! It looks to be very promising and there are already several members who carried over from Rune. Stop by and see when =0= may be hitting the servers. Ground =0= Forums
-Hrothgar

Jan 20th:
Quagmire
who had requested a tryout was inducted into JüNN after several great rounds of DM and Arena Mid November. THeFiSH, Vindice and Hair of the dog have all left JüNN with reasons of their own. It was great to have them apart of this clan and they contributed many good games to everyone. Hope to see you out and about on the servers!
-Hrothgar

2002:
October 12th:

Two days ago, Meanbone informed us that he will be hanging up the blade for awhile. It's hard to find words to describe how much he'll be missed, as everyone here knows what he meant to JuNN and to the game of Rune in general. I'm sure everyone here will be eagerly awaiting his return to the game. Hurry back MB, we'll keep your sword sharpened!!
-Snake

August 10th:
Much has happened since the beginning of summer many sightings of some of
JüNNs more elusive members. Word from Tsesmatates is that school is going well. Burnout and Reqiuem have been frequenting the servers taking names. Welcome to new members Eternal Lich, JoNo, Mulan, Vindice and Hair of the dog. Eternal Lich formerly of of the sigil clan has recently proven he is JüNN. With an exceptional skill with the worksword there was a lot of heads being tossed about to say the least. ;) JoNo another great player preformed very well at his tryouts and is quite possibly one of the most adaptable players out there. Mulans tryout was action packed and she earned it with the all the practice she had done. Vindice and Hair both preformed outstanding and illustrated many traits of the JüNN.
-Hrothgar

March 23: Hello new JüNNs! :) Good-bye OGL? :(

'Bout time to update the Ravings ... the late winter blahs are over and spring is damn near here (thank GOD!) And what better time to chop off a Sark's head or burn a few Vikings to death than in the spring?!

There HAVE been some cool Rune activities in the past couple of months worth mention, including a Runegame.com Skinning Contest
in which two JüNNs took honors, an 8 vs. 8 throwdown with KOD (damn good clan) and some great Tryouts in which we have added some outstanding talent to the horde. In sad news, it looks like the OGL will be tossing Rune overboard in the next few weeks, but on a positive note there is an effort (incuding some JüNNs) to start up some new competition: The Bloodsport League of Rune.

The Skinning Contest was judged by none other than Human Head Studios, and there were 15 entries. There were 4 winners as well as 4 honorable mentions; one JüNN (~LonghorN~) took 3rd prize and another (yours truly, MeanBone) took honorable mention. This contest was only 2 weeks long, and it was my first stab at skinning, but it was definitely a lot of fun and our skins (Ice Valkyrie and, of course, MeanBone) are included in an 8-skin pack that you can download ... check Runegame.com for download links.

We had a huge battle with KOD about a month ago (it was billed as the KOD vs. JüNN Funfest Tournament, hosted by PING) and it was supposed to be 8 vs. 8! PING has a dual-DSL server and can actually host that many, although it ended up being 6-7 JüNNs vs. 5-6 KODs. But give credit to KOD, they didn't back down and it was a good slugfest on Thorstadt, with final scores of JüNN 150-KOD 85 and JüNN 150-KOD 89. The JüNNs who showed up included: BaLL_BuSta, Attila, Hrothgar, Lancer, Terminus, DragonBreath and MeanBone, claiming some well-earned trophies (the Battles and Trophies pages are updated). Looking forward to doing it again soon, and thanks again PING :)

Caine, moderator for OGL's Rune ladder, said recently that due to lack of interest, he will probably be closing the ladder in the next few weeks. The Team ladder was the first to go, then the 2v2 ladder and now it looks the 1v1 ladder is on its way out :( I can honestly say that JüNN has been the most active Rune horde in the OGL, so we did our part. Right now there's no less than 6 of us active on the ladder, and we had teams on the Team and 2v2 ladders when they were closed. So it will be sad to see it go, but The Bloodsport League of Rune is already getting started, and I'll add a link to it in the Winds section (had to get some out-of date links out of there as well.) So check it out!

Our recent Tryouts went very well, with some great new blood added to the horde. Hrothgar is one of the very best I've seen with the battle axe, and he is an elite Deathmatch player. Snake, formerly of LOA, is widely-known as one of the very top Arena fighters (and he's also a great skinner). And Zero is an outstanding all-around player, proving himself in both Arena and Deathmatch, as all JüNNs must :) In addition to these great additions, there have been Punchy sightings on servers recently, and Niijima has requested a name change to Requiem.

On one quick final note, keep an eye out for SIEGE, an Assault-style mod for Rune. ~LonghorN~ says it's damn near finished, with lots of new features (weapons, rune powers, etc.) and should be out soon. HAIL JüNN!!!

--MB

Jan. 17: BLOODY VICTORY!!! er... I mean... Good Games :)

In the past month or so JüNN has fought in 4 Clan Challenges and emerged victorious every time. These battles consisted of two DeathMatch challenges and two Arena challenges, and were against some of the more active and skilled Rune clans in the game: Paladin in DM and Arena, the Lamer Tamers (LT) in DM and the Lords of Apocalypse (LOA) in Arena. All three have cool players with positive attitudes such as Paladin-Methic, Colt<LT> and LOA-DaBabe, so it was fun to cross blades with these great warriors. Check the Battles page for results and some screenshots, and check the Trophies page to see the new honors claimed by: Agmon_Mithril, DragonBreath, Terminus, Lancer and MeanBone. Blood and glory! In the next few weeks, we have challenges against LT in Arena, LOA in DM and hopefully Zaphirs in DM, so be sure to let me know who wants in on these!

In OGL battles, Tsesmatas defeated Terminus in a VERY tight 1v1 match 12-10, then later on Terminus and Tsesmatas teamed up to earn a 2v2 victory over the 420 clan, 38-27 on DM-Warlock and 74-42 on DM-Hildir. JüNN reclaims the #3 spot against a damn good team (Loomis and Rimulak) and 2 more trophies for Term and Tses. Now it looks like the #2 spot held by NosFeratu is open for challenge... After two tough 1v1 losses to SL-Maniac (20-12) and ERF-Crow (15-13), MeanBone came back to beat Maniac (20-7) for the #3 rank and now is challenging Crow (who defeated DSR-DG) to regain the #1 spot -- should be a good fight :) And Terminus is challenging ERF-Clan-X for the #2 spot, so some big duels coming up!

Finally, welcome to 2 new JüNNs, Attila and ZombieLord. These are both outstanding players -- ZL is especially deadly in Arena, and Attila kicks ass in DM and Arena (and is getting DSL any day now -- look out!) And while on that topic, Burnout says he's getting DSL THIS WEEK, so every single JüNN will be on broadband ... OMG, the Rune world is in some serious trouble :) There's a new book (in Whispers ... shhh :) for people to post if they need a server or can provide one, so just shout if you need a server to practice for some upcoming match or to host the match itself. And there's a "challenge" of some kind coming up at Runegame.com (check the message board there to see what Kazi has to say about it) Usually some actual prizes involved, would be nice if it was a HH-sponsored Rune Horde Tournament ... well we can dream, right? But even if it's not, we'll just keep kickin' ass, takin' names and drinkin' hard ... HAIL JüNN!

2001:
Dec. 3: LET THE CLAN WARS BEGIN!

Looks like there will be some good Clan Challenges coming up the next few weeks. There are a number of clans we're going to mix it up with in both DeathMatch and Arena, including: LT, LOA, DPX. We're starting this Wednesday (Dec. 5) at 9 p.m. EST with a doubleheader versus Paladin -- first Arena, then DM (I'm working out the details with Paladin-Methic, but if you're available to play Wednesday night, LET ME KNOW -- post it in the Book of Champions). After that, we will face LOA in an Arena match, and I believe LT has agreed to a DM so stay tuned. I'm also talking with LOA-DaBabe about setting up some Saturday night multiple-clan tournaments in Arena and DM.

In recent OGL battles, the JüNNs have been battling it out with some Europeans (and their damn lag:) Terminus and Tsesmatas beat the Stygians in a 2v2 DM 60-49 on the US server, then lost 50-46 on the EU server. The Stygians conceded the tie-breaker -- I think just combining scores from the first two games would be sufficient considering US-EU lag issues, but anyway, apparently the Stygians have disbanded :( I have also heard that HRW is dead, and AOD joined DPX. Sad but true.

In Round 3 of DSR-DG vs MB]JUNN[ for OGL 1v1 top rung, it was another all-out WAR: DG 12-MB 5 on the EU server, then MB 12-DG 7 on the US server -- DG reclaims #1 ranking with a 19-17 victory, congrats man. I was up 10-5 on US server when DG got #6, very exciting :) Thanks to Edge for hosting the match!

We also welcome some new blood into the horde: Lancer, WarMinion and Tyr -- very good players who have shown persistence and excellent attitudes. Also, in very big news, KainDragoon has rejoined us! Glad to have him back (and he now OWNS with low ping:) So it looks like recruiting is going to slow down, might add one more to give us an even 20. And there is one who has shown great determination ...

Nov. 3: Hello to new JüNNs, goodbyes to old ones

Tryouts went pretty well considering server issues, and we are happy to have DaStReE and BaLL-BuSTa join the JûNN Horde. These two are extremely talented and displayed their skills and good attitudes despite some lag. Welcome to JûNN!

In some sad news, some great players have moved on and we're sorry to see them leave, but wish them the best in their new journeys. KopyKatt, who had earned the second-most trophies for glorious victories in the horde, has joined DpX; KainDragoon, one of the first half-dozen in JûNN, has joined OC; and ThulsaDoom just said he was leaving ... these are obviously tremendously skilled players (they were JûNN after all :) and it's tough to lose them, but hopefully they're happy in their new surroundings. Good luck to them, and I'm sure we'll cross swords again soon...

In some recent battles, we had a classic fight against the Deadly Soul Riders (among the very top European clans) for #1 spot in OGL 2 vs. 2. In the first match on a EU server, the score was DSR 65, JûNN 55; second match on US server was JûNN 54, DSR 49; and tie-breaker on EU server was DSR 48, JûNN 29. Good battles, and good effort by those who fought: Terminus, DredKnight, The_Answer and THeFiSH. Hopefully next time we can do just 2 matches, 1 on EU server and 1 on US server, with the same map, and then just combine scores. That would seem to be the fairest way considering the horrible US-EU lag differential :( Nevertheless, congrats to DSR on the win.

In OGL 1 vs. 1, I held onto the #1 spot in a vigorous duel with Terminus, 17-11. My next match (Nov. 10) is Round 3 of MB-JûNN vs. DSR-DG ... we split the first 2 times, so it should be a WAR! Stay tuned...

Oct. 14: Here comes the OFFICIAL FALL JûNN TRYOUTS!

Yeah, that's right, JûNN is holding official tryouts Oct. 19 and 20 to add (hopefully) 2-3 extremely qualified ass-kickers to the best Rune horde this side of the Bifrost Bridge. More on that after some updates...

Terminus and MeanBone scored a victory over HRW on the OGL 2v2 ladder to hold the #2 spot. Scores were JûNN 64-HRW 28 on Hildir, and JûNN 23-HRW 18 on Ruins (exciting match). A screenshot of the Hildir match is on the Battles page (the Ruins match crashed halfway through, we finished but individual scores weren't there). Team Terminus JuNN next faces DSR for the #1 spot on Thursday night Oct. 18. I'm working then, so get in contact with Term if you can help him win the top spot (and be sure to get on BattleCom for the match! DSR is tough, so communication and teamwork will decide it).

I'm back at #1 on OGL 1v1 (DG apparently was on rest for too long?) and I successfully defended the top spot twice. First match was vs. §lave of the §tygians, the score was MB 18- §lave 0 on Champions when he decided that was enough :) He said that he would never play Rune again, but I see he's still on the ladder, so I hope he won't give up over one bad-luck match. I also played our very own Terminus on Bladepit and was fortunate to come out with a 14-6 victory (I had a 30-50 ping advantage, and I do think that makes a difference) -- thanks to Colt<LT> for hosting. Prior to that, Term had defeated LOA-Maximus and HRW-Another, and I'm sure he'll be coming after the title again soon (I might not get so lucky next time). Other JûNNs interested in joining the 1v1 ladder, ICQ me and I'll make sure you get signed up.

OK, now for the upcoming tryouts...

ARENA: Oct. 19, starting at 11 p.m. EDT
JûNN RECRUITERS: Terminus, Tsesmatas, others

This will demonstrate basic overall fighting ability on different styles of maps (yes Widowmaker probably will be one of them, no swimming! :)) Shields likely will be killed on a couple of maps to test 2-handed weapon skills. There will be 3-4 recruits and 2-3 JûNNs playing 5 maps. A recruit will have to beat all other recruits and at least one JûNN on at least 2 maps to advance to...

DEATHMATCH: Oct. 20 starting at 11 p.m. EDT
JûNN RECRUITERS: MeanBone, KopyKatt, others

This will test a wide variety of skills in addition to fighting (throwing, pursuing, evading, selecting targets, using and countering runes, controlling weapons and powerups). The mutator MeanBone's Runes (c) Za'arok will be used so Bone Club Sonic Blast costs 2 runes . Again, 3-4 recruits, 2-3 JûNNs over 5 maps. Anyone who can beat all other recruits and at least one JûNN on at least 2 maps will advance to...

FINAL CHALLENGE: Time TBA
JûNN RECRUITERS: ???

Anyone who gets this far will be given one last test of mettle (mysterious, ain't it?)

To register for tryouts (no drop-ins, you must let us know in advance), go to the CHANTS section, then leave name and contact info in the BOOK OF BLOOD. Or if you have given your info to Terminus or KopyKatt, that's fine also. See you Friday night and good luck :)

Finally, no idea what's up with Kull's Cup of Death Tournament (last I saw, the site was down...) Also, Online Corruption is sponsoring a team tournament with some mutated rules (No Sever, No Runes, Arena Combat Rules) -- as much as I like Rune events, I'm not down with those rules, but if somebody wants to enter a team and kick Radio's ass, be my guest :) I'd just like to play a straight team match (willing to put up with No Runes I suppose) so hopefully LoH or LT or somebody will fight us in a 3vs3 soon. Anyway, go kick ass and get set to beat down the JûNN wannabes... er ... the recruits (oops! just a little joke :)

--MB

Sept. 6: Congrats DG on wild duel... and regarding whiners...

All right, time for an update, first on MB vs DG II, this rematch for the top OGL spot was just as intense as expected. After some ordeals getting the servers set up (EU-US lag issues) we finally played the match and DG came back to win 17-14 (I do have to mention he was 0 for about 52 on throws :). But we did our best to make it as fair as possible, and I just say congrats to DG, now go get him Crow :)

We also played the Zaphirs in a Clan Challenge and agreed to go with no runes (Europeans... sigh... heheh read more below) And
DredKnight, Terminus and MB beat Blackoak, Timberwolf and
Kaziganthi 92-51 on Thorstadt (see Battles page for screenshot). Also,
Tsesmatas and KainDragoon beat Blackoak and Kaziganthi 30-20 in a 2v2 on Ruins (KD with his 56K on a EU server! He still got 12 kills, and
Tsesmatas racked up 18). Nice work! We will have more official Clan Challenges in the coming weeks, assuming we can find opponents.
But the Zaps, as always, were fun to cross swords with.

On the issue of using Runes, we agreed not to in THAT match, but a
BK-BloodyBastard (European, just a guess) posted in the Book of Blood
(where JüNNs DON'T post -- to avoid confusion) this little whiny note:

"I met some of you guys at 4Players servers and recogniced that using the yellow and red runepower seems to be normal to your horde. But this is not the way most of the players at this servers want to play. You`re destroying fair and honorable fights by doing this. So for the future I bag you not to use this runepower, its really not funny. Thx for your understanding and allways nice fights. We meet on battlefields (but hopefully without runes). Cya"

I'm not sure how he knows "this is not the way most of the players at this servers want to play" -- did he conduct a scientific survey? So
THeFiSH has posted a reply to this genius:

"Ok, I know that I am not supposed to post here under the JUNN name, but I have to speak up to <BK> Bloody bastard. It is Dick heads like you who ruin everybody's fun! If you choose to play on a FREE FOR ALL server which is not only set to DM but has ALL runes and power ups enabled, then prepare to use them or die! If you choose not to use them, don't bitch about us players who are smart enough to use what is available to us to Kick your ass! Thanx for your time..........PS...ALL WHINNERS MUST DIE!!!!!!!!"

Preach on FiSHy! If the people running the 4Players server DON'T WANT runes used, why didn't they turn them OFF? Are they left on for decoration? Morons... I'm sorry, but it's like some punk expecting everybody on a Quake server to not use the Rocket Launcher because he doesn't happen to be any good with it, and then bitching when they blow his ass up. "If it's in the game, it's in the game" (c)EA SPORTS

Anyway, if any JüNNs see something posted in the Book of Blood and want to respond, just ICQ or e-mail me your reply and I'll post it here. I still want to keep JüNNs out of the open book, so we don't have that problem with people posting under our names and trying to start shit. So I'm deleting some posts right now.

For those who played in the match vs. Zaphirs, that was an official match good for trophies, and I HOPE to have that page done by the time the weekend is over. OGL, Kull's Tourney and Clan Challenges count for trophies. Not redeemable for purchases at Best Buy unfortunatley, but they're still a sign of how much ass each of us is kicking :)

--MB

August 30: About time for Round 2 ... and an OGL rematch

Kull's Cup of Death Tournament looks like it's about set to go to
Round 2, and all four JüNNs in the tourney have advanced (winning trophies -- that will be the next part of the site to be done). The opponents will only get tougher from here, and it's still just 1 quick match, first to 8 kills, so nobody can afford a slow start! KopyKatt faces
Idiot, Tsesmatas goes up against Old_School, Terminus will take on
Riddler and MB will fight Rebel. Can all four JüNNs win AGAIN? Of course :) But it won't be easy...

I have managed to defend the #1 spot in the OGL ladder against two good opponents who showed lots of class: LOA-Geronimo and
Blackoak, leader of the Zaphirs. Good battles, but next comes the rematch with DSR-DG, who seems to want the top spot back :) After just squeaking out the win last time, there's no reason not to expect
DG vs MeanBone II will be one hell of a war. JüNNs also have fought their way up to the #3 and #4 spots, and now Roric and KopyKatt are set to go against each other, probably for the right to challenge for the #1 spot next. Any other JüNNs who want to join the OGL ladder, just ask KK, Roric or me about how to do it. We can always use more.

We have 3 new members. AoD is no more, so Crow and Helraiser are now JüNNs. And we gained Tsesmatas (formerly Renrir from LT). Also, I had put the offer to Nina many months ago, but she's kind of a hard one to pin down ... she kicks ass using the 'Nina<JUNN>' name, but then won't e-mail or message me. I guess she just plays hard to get :) But if she ever DOES decide to get ahold of me, there's an 'official' spot waiting for her. Other than that, no new recruits will be taken until after Kull's Tourney, when we have time to hold a major tryout.

--MB

August 17: Rollin' along with glorious victories etc. etc. 8^)

Just back from a brief vacation, and man there's some good, bloody
RUNE competition going on lately. I got in my first-round match in
Kull's Cup of Death Tournament against Ares of the Gladiators last Saturday before I went out of town. Ares is a good fighter and he has a good attitude, it was a fun match. Final score on AR-SmeltingPot was
MeanBone 8, Ares 2, so I'm on to the second round (woo hoo!). And in bad news for the rest of the competitors, KopyKatt defeated Vegeta
(another Gladiator) 8-6. KK fell behind 5-1, but came back. Hopefully the first-round matches will be done soon, and we can go on to Round 2 (don't want to see the tourney's momentum die out ... and looking forward to a Deathmatch tourney sometime down the road!)

Then on Wednesday, just after I got back from vacation, I had a match scheduled against DSR_DG for the #1 spot on the OGL 1v1 Ladder. DG was cool and let me get in a few warmup fights before we went at it. And then, this fight was INTENSE. I jumped out to a 9-3 lead in 10 minutes on my server (DG pinged about 350), then we played 10 minutes on DG's server (in Denmark I think ... I pinged about 350 there also) and it was 5-5 there before DG went on a roll with the worksword and racked it up to 10-5. We were swingin' away when the clock finally ran out (saved by the bell :) so the final combined score was MB 14, DG 13. I know there will be a tough rematch in the future, and some other kickass challengers (and my luck can't hold out forever), but I have to say, IT FEELS GOOD TO BE THE KING, BABY!!! +]]:o)

And finally, it turns out that our new recruit Executioner is actually none other than Terminus (formerly?) of the Lamer Tamers. Term might know more RUNE players than anyone else in existence, he seems to know just about everyone! Not sure what his current status is with LT (most of whom I get along with, personally, even if our 'philosophies' aren't exactly in line; I've been known to do a little whoring, camping, and throwing -- in DM -- since I don't think that's 'lame', but just part of the game ... but I know some disagree with me, and hey, they're perfectly entitled to be wrong! :). I get the impression
Term likes fighting with JUNN, but he has a lot of buds in LT. As far as being in two clans at the same time, well, I always thought it's kind of pointless trying to STOP people on the Internet from doing what they want to do (since you never know who's running around under what names anyway). I just never really saw much point (or had enough time!) to be in more than one clan. Anybody who has opinions on this, post 'em in the BOOK OF BLOOD. I guess you find out who's on your side when it's time to throw down, anyway, so maybe we'll just have to challenge LT to a big slugfest and see which side Terminus is really on! Good excuse for a big Team DM, anyway :) As if we need an excuse....

August 9: Big, fat, long-overdue update ... 8^P

Wow it's been awhile. Not that the JüNNs haven't been playing a lot of Rune (and drinking:) this summer, just the whole scene has been kind of dead. But it looks like it's finally starting to heat up again, and with summer rolling to an end, people (like Roric) will be heading back to school and getting their fast connections back. Also, we have some awesome new recruits (TheAnswer, DredKnight, Executioner and DragonBreath) and Rune Gold will come out, so hopefully there will be some fresh blood (and I do mean BLOOD:) Welcome to the new
JüNNs!

Homestead decided to start charging, but I figure it's worth the $20 for a year since the page editor is the easiest thing I ever used, and they gave me a discount, and there's no banners, and MOST OF ALL THERE'S NO GODFORSAKEN POP-UPS!!! :) Also, since I paid a little bit, I figure it will motivate me to update more to get my money's worth ....

Anyway, the OGL team ladder died from lack of use, as I figured it would (I tried over and over to get other clans to sign up), but we got in two more decent matches before it died. Against DSR, it was FiSH,
KopyKatt and MeanBone vs. Pitman, Lord Jackal and ... don't remember off-hand, but he was damn good too :) We played 2 rounds and got a split, but DSR beat us on the EU server by more than we beat them on the US server, so they kept the #1 spot. Then KK and MB took on Maniac and Anarchist from the Shadow Lords and we swept 2 rounds from them (and maybe put Anarchist off deathmatch forever from the sounds of it, hehe) So the JüNNs took the #2 spot and the ladder closed before we could play DSR again ... hopefully a rematch sometime down the road.

The OGL 1v1 ladder is still up, and KK just beat LOA-Maximus for the #2 spot. MB plays DSR-DG for the #1 spot next week ... should be a tough fight! Also, Kull's Cup of Death Tournament for Arena is starting, and KK and MB are among the 64 going for the title. There's some great players in this tourney, so we'll see how far we can go -- even though JüNNs usually dominate much more in Deathmatch than in Arena (there's a lot more you have to be good at to dominate in DM, but that's the subject for ravings another time:).

Finally, we hooked up with the Army of Darkness (AoD). Crow and his bro Helraiser can kick ass both in Rune and in Flash design, so the
JUNN HORDE is like the Marines of the AoD. We can fight together in battle and extend our domination over the Rune world, putting the fear into groups of clans like FSU and Runecenter's clans. And we'll keep our eye out for other kick-ass hordes that want to keep their identity but also want to join forces with the best.

Because make no mistake, the JUNN HORDE is alive, kicking, and we're the meanest collection of badasses Rune has ever seen.
WHERE YOU GOIN' BABY? THIS PARTY JUST STARTED!!!!!

Let the heads roll :)
